Heard from a 4th year CS Engineer in a premier Indian engineering college about another 4th year CS engineer of India in a premier Indian engineering college:
This guy was doing systems programming, he assembled and linked the .asm file after copying the code from his neighbours. Then he asks :
".exe file toh ban gayi, how do I run it" (translated : The .exe file is made, how do I run it)
And imagine that he assembled and linked it via dos prompt going into the assembler's bin directory to use the assembler executables.
