Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Everywhere i go, people are in awe of the new book. But i didnt find it really that good. For one it was too predictable. Every theory which had emerged after HBP was true and it seems JK Rowling borrowed some of them too. After reading the HBP, i had went to a few forums and seen theories, JK Rowling incorporated all of them.

Spoliers Ahead :
RAB, Harry being a horcrux, Snape being good, Dumbledore not letting Malfoy kill him because he didnt want to tarnish his soul, Malfoys turning good etc. Lots of people die, Mad Eye Moody, Kreacher, Fred, Lupin, Tonks etc. and not to forget Voldemort, who dies as he overlooked a small technicality. Harry Potter does not kill him. Harry Potter dies and then doesnt die etc.

The list is endless !

Also i thank God there will be no other Harry Potter book, simply means that i wont have to preorder again, every company from Indiatimes to Indiaplaza seem to have faltered in their promises of same day delivery, its much better to buy from your neighbourhood store in the morning. But TNT Courier were actually very helpful in sorting the matter, their franchise had messed up the delivery and therefore i received it on Monday evening, i would have received it on Monday also, if it hadnt been for the fact that someone at a high position in TNT had read the post and helped.

Also Nokia have acquired Twango, The thing is great, but the downer is the 250mb transfer limit per month.

You got one thing wrong. Jo has said there will be an encyclopedia on the Magical world. Check out Mugglenet for the same.

Ankit I don't think it would be as big as a normal one would be (Though I wish it was so)

People would buy it for the same reason they stand in queues for hours at midnight for a book

Maybe so, i usually bought the Harry Potter books for the story, personally i hated the Quidditch and Bests books, not my type of reading. Although i am sure some would have loved those.

Also i read that she will share stuff she never shared, like Lee Jordan's story etc., doesn't interest me. My favourite parts in all Harry Potter books are where they open the secrets. In this book too, i had skipped the Dumbledore book section by Rita Skeeter a lot, that was not interesting IMHO.

Like i said its a personal thing, i don't see a point to an encyclopaedia about fictitious things.
